梵高揮別艾菲爾鐵塔 《意象來源》 梵谷：『鳥鴉滿天飛的麥田（1890） 『奧斐的教堂』（1890） 除了艾菲爾鐵塔外，梵谷的形像構成了這幅動人心魄的作品，是陳錦芳紀念鐵塔百年的系列中一幅具份量的力作。 這幅畫組合了三個意象：歐斐的教堂，烏鴉飛滿天的麥田，以及艾菲爾鐵塔。 梵 谷的原作裡麥田佔了三分之二的畫面，而烏鴉滿天飛。深藍的天空零亂可怕，不管麥田上閃耀著陽光。陳錦芳作品上的麥田佔不到一半的畫面，天空視野擴大。他的 天空也有旋轉的雲，看來像是收割後大風中的麥草綑。那廣闊的天空戲劇性地襯托出那兩個法國的象徵形像：右邊是鄉下的教堂，左邊是現代土木工程的奇葩。 這兩個象徵形像符合陳錦芳的哲學意涵。教堂所代表的跟他早期作品中的佛像，月中詩人，以及其他東方形像所代表的合拍：即人的精神及（東方）直覺的象徵，而相反地鐵塔代表了科學的、實利的、物質的層面：西方文化的縮影。在這裡是東西方的整合。
