Jin Fang went to bookstores to buy books about Princess Diana and collected a large amount of information about her, especially images. He watched her funeral and various reports about her life on television every day, and began to develop the "Princess Diana Series" with a goal of 36 paintings, since she died at the age of 36. Because Jin Fang believed that Princess Diana was the last and greatest "icon" of the 20th century, he wanted to interpret her in his most proficient "Neo-Imagism" style, showing the multifaceted nature of this "extraordinary woman". His first batch of 30 works was exhibited at our "New World Art Center" the following spring.
