Charmeuse  d’Orient

#06005     142 X 198 cm     oc     2006

In this work, Dr. T.F. Chen takes Henri Rousseau’s Dreams and transforms it into an Oriental poem. The theme of harmonious coexistence of beings in love and divinity now takes place in China. Tigers, pandas, serpents and flamingos peacefully live in an exotic forest where a dark musician plays the flute and the Buddha meditates. The auspicious red silhouette of the Temple of Heaven under a brilliant full moon manifests the magnificent role that China will play in this century-one of wisdom, harmony, and peace.
