Mexico Pavilion97 X 130 cm ac 2010/9/10 The Mexico Pavilion features a Kite Forest above, combining colorful kites and green grass representing Mexico’s ideas of future urban life; as well as an underground museum showcasing elements of Mexico’s rich folk art masks, history and culture. In Mexico, kites represent people’s aspirations toward a better life. Because the kite originated in China, this is a common element that unites the Mexican and Chinese cultures, and represents the idea of flying and development. |
