You’re invited to commission a timeless artistic portrait by Dr. T.F. Chen
Portraits are the greatest gifts of love and inheritance — the most enduring heirlooms.
Commission a portrait that will last forever!
Dear Friends, Warm greetings from the TF Chen Cultural Center in New York City and the TF Chen Cultural and Art Foundation in Taiwan!
In recognition of your extraordinary and meaningful life journey, we sincerely invite you to consider a truly timeless gift for yourself or your loved ones: an artistic portrait to be cherished across generations.
Life is short, but art is eternal. Since ancient times, European aristocrats have passed down traditions and spirit through portraits. More than mere resemblance, a portrait is a unique artistic expression that reveals a person’s character and soul.
Whether it is a depiction of an individual, a family elder, or a business leader — especially one painted by Dr. T.F. Chen, United Nations Cultural Ambassador and globally recognized figure in art history — the result is a meaningful and priceless heirloom.
About Dr. T.F. Chen:
Dr. Chen began sketching at the age of 14 and held solo exhibitions while studying at National Taiwan University.
In 1963, he received the Charles de Gaulle Scholarship to study in Paris and later earned a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Paris.
His seven years of formal training at the Paris Academy of Fine Arts laid the foundation for his pioneering “Neo-Iconography” style, positioning him as a forerunner of postmodernism.
His works embody the spirit of the times and are featured in 300 textbooks and publications across 37 countries, including over 100 pages in the world-renowned art history textbook Arts & Ideas — alongside masters such as Van Gogh and Picasso.
In 1968, Dr. Chen produced the first Chinese translation of The Little Prince. He has published 24 books to date and has been invited to deliver hundreds of distinguished speeches around the world.
Despite his high standing in art and academia, his artwork remains modestly priced, untouched by market speculation, with potential for exponential appreciation in value.
A Cultural Ambassador for the United Nations, Dr. Chen has lived in Paris for 12 years and in the United States for over 50 years, dedicating his life to cultural exchange and humanistic artistic creation.
He has hosted more than 250 solo exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and North America.
As he prepares a documentary and a touring exhibition in the United States next year, Dr. Chen hopes to launch the Art Portrait Series — forging meaningful relationships at the summit of his 90-year journey.
We sincerely invite you or your family to commission an artistic portrait that commemorates your story, values, and the essence of your era.
Portraits can be created based on photographs and rendered in media such as charcoal, oil pastel, or oil paint.
Price range: USD $1,000 – $500,000, depending on size and medium.
Each portrait comes with a signature and certificate — a guarantee that it will become a treasured heirloom and contribute to your family’s artistic legacy.
