I. Executive Summary

Hope for America is a national touring art exhibition presented by the TF Chen Cultural Center in
commemoration of two historic American milestones: the 250th Anniversary of the United States’
Independence and the 400th Anniversary of the founding of New York City, created by Dr. TF Chen.
Dr. TF Chen, a 89-year-old Taiwanese-American artist and recipient of the UN Global Tolerance Award,
pioneered “Neo-Iconography”(1969) — a visual language that fuses Eastern and Western aesthetics
to explore universal human values. Hope for America will showcase approximately 40
paintings(according to the size of the space) contextualized with historical and cultural narratives,
Celebrating freedom, diversity, and civic resilience.

III. Artist Background
Dr. T.F. Chen is a Taiwanese-American painter, philosopher, and cultural ambassador whose
“Neo-Iconography” is a postmodern style that fuses classical techniques with contemporary
symbolism(since 1969). He entered a painting studio at the age of 14 to learn techniques and has
been committed to his artistic journey for more than 70 years. Educated at the University of Paris
(Sorbonne Ph.D. in Art History), TF Chen has created thousands of works, held more than 250 solo
exhibitions around the world, and has given hundreds of lectures in English, French, and Chinese. His
thoughts and works have been introduced in more than 300 textbooks and magazines in 37 countries,
especially included in world art history textbooks in many countries. And was honored by the United
Nations for his contributions to global peace through art.

IV. Exhibition Cooperation
This exhibition will tour to New York, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Miami,
Houston and other important cities.
We firmly believe that this exhibition will be in line with your long-term philosophy of supporting
meaningful contemporary art and cultural dialogue.
Since 1964, Dr.TF Chen has advocated that the creation of the New Renaissance is rooted in the
cultural heritage of the fusion of the East and the West, which is a profound response to the current
American identity consciousness and global humanistic values.
