Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of American Independence

 

"Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of American Independence" is one of Dr. Chen Jinfang's representative art projects created for the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and the 400th anniversary of the founding of New York City in 2026. Through his "Neo-Iconography" style, he integrates history, culture, politics, and natural landscapes to showcase the multifaceted American spirit—freedom, equality, innovation, inclusion, and hope. This series includes 29 paintings, covering historical events, landmark buildings, urban landscapes, and natural wonders, and reinterprets American cultural myths and democratic ideals with vibrant colors and symbolic language.
